Spark Boda was founded in 2022 by dreamers and entrepreneurs.
At the core of Spark Boda lies a Swedish-Kenyan founder team, bringing together extensive global business experience. While our roots may span the globe, our mission is firmly rooted in Kenya, where we're dedicated to making a lasting impact.
Our founder team boasts a track record of successfully building businesses, both B2B and B2C, across diverse industries worldwide. What sets us apart is our commitment to self-funding our venture, bypassing traditional startup financing avenues like venture funding. We're driven by a vision of long-term sustainability, one that not only creates opportunities but also improves the social fabric over time.
Our mission is clear: to revolutionize passenger transportation on the African continent by offering electric vehicle rentals to drivers. In doing so, we empower these drivers to provide their passengers with the most sustainable means of transportation available. Our focus, however, extends beyond the passenger—it's on the drivers themselves, transforming them into successful small business owners.
